Dalmatia

Dalmatia is Croatia's largest tourist region stretching from the island of Pag to the north to Dubrovnik in the south. The most famous tourist destinations of this region are the city of Zadar in northern Dalmatia, Split in central Dalmatia and Dubrovnik as part of southern Dalmatia. Apart from these, there are numerous other popular tourist destinations along the coast, such as Šibenik, the charming Trogir and Vodice, a place that attracts tourists from all over the world with its rich culture and natural beauties. When it comes to Dalmatia, one of its biggest attractions is to be mentioned, and there are numerous islands that are beautiful pebble and sandy beaches. The island of Brac, the sunniest island of Hvar and the birthplace of the famous researcher Marco Polo, the island of Korcula, are among the bigger islands, including Dugi otok, and the island of Murter, famous for its beautiful beaches and Pašman, a part of Zadar archipelago.
